The Bible

The Bible is the Word of God. It is supernaturally inspired, inerrant in the original manuscripts and preserved by God. It is the divinely authoritative standard for faith and life. The Bible is God's story and all of scripture points to one event: the rescue of mankind from sin through Jesus Christ.

The Godhead

The Godhead exists eternally in three persons - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit - and these three are one God.

God the Father

God the Father created the world and by His sovereign choice and act of love toward man, sent His Christ into the world to redeem mankind by paying the penalty for man's sin.

Jesus

Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, was crucified on the cross to pay our sin debt and rose again the third day to redeem mankind from sin. We believe that Jesus Christ ascended into heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God the Father. He is the head of the church and as our High Priest, He intercedes for believers. He will come again personally, bodily, and visibly to earth to establish His millennial kingdom.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity whose work is to convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. He indwells, baptizes and seals all believers at the moment of salvation.

Salvation

Salvation is a gift by God's grace through faith in the completed work of the Lord Jesus Christ and is entirely separate from any good works or efforts of man. We believe that man was created in the image of God, but in Adam's sin the human race fell, inherits the sin nature, separated from God and unable to remedy His lost state.

Sanctification

Sanctification or spiritual maturity occurs as a work of the Holy Spirit and through the disciplines of reading the Word of God, praying, and obeying the Word of God.
